Some much needed representation

It’s refreshing to read stories about Filipino people. Even more so about Filipinas in particular. There’s really something special about recognizing a place someone refers to or seeing parallels between your experience and the story you’re reading. I also love how you could track a little bit of Western folklore themes in the stories Kelly told. I only wish that there were more of each, or that there were more connections between the stories. It would’ve been fun recognizing a name from tale to tale.

Nice, quick read. Definitely recommend! Especially to FilAms trying to reconnect with their roots.
