I wasn't a fan of Nigel Hawthorne's narration of the first short story but Hugh Fraser narrated all the stories after.  Not sure why he doesn't get narration credit on the book listing but he was great as always.  I usually am not a big short story fan but these were all fun.  A great listen.

A very enjoyable short story Poirot book. The one I enjoyed the least was the theft one, but even that was clever.

There is nothing inherently wrong with this book. However, I don't like the fact that it's four short stories. I was looking forward to a nice 'long' mystery starting my favorite Belgium and instead got bite sized pieces.

Fun short stories - enjoyed seeing how the third one was a reworking of the shorter story version (for a minute I was worried Christie was just obsessed with dinner gongs...).

I enjoy this book mostly for the titular short story, but in my opinion you truly can't go wrong with Poirot.
