Had to pick this up after reading the first book and WOW I am so happy!! This lil novella does a wonderful job showcasing Henry and Percy’s nuanced relationship and the obstacles they have to face. Like not everything was sunshine and rainbows at the end of the first book y’all!! They still had so much to work on both as individuals and as a couple but they are more than willing to put in the hard work and have the really hard conversations because they love each other so deeply and they want to be together forever regardless of what gets in their way and UGHH I love them I didn’t think I would be so invested but now they’re one of my fav fictional couples of this year

This was extremely sweet and funny!

Between panic attacks, head traumas and jumps in the sea Percy and Monty get to know each other and trust each other more and more.

THEY ARE IN LOVE YOUR HONOUR!!!

Hot scale: surprisingly no sex! But it is super cute and sweet.

Now that Monty and Percy are together, this a fun novella of the two of them trying to finally consummate their new relationship. However Monty needs to conquer his own internalized self-hatred and and fear of the future to be truly honest with Percy.

I would like to formally nominate Mackenzie Lee to write my wedding vows after reading some of the most romantic passages I've witnessed in my 25 years on earth.

PopSugar 2024 reading challenge #45

This is likely part of a larger series, too bad no one told me when I started reading and did not understand who any of the characters were. Hints were dropped that helped to determine the time period but, again, not many. What is happening? I did figure it out but it would have been helpful to have read the first book.

Overall, two young men fumble through trying to make love. Cute, sure. The most amazing thing I've ever read, no not really, but it was a quick fun read.

[Not steamy. Not explicit. Very safe YAL.]
