the book is very good. however i was reading it in a bookstore and they were closing and then i lost my souvenirs in the shop before flying out today and the was the beginning of my problems

This is the book that made me fall in love with diary comics & I love it so so much!

The subject matter of this diary comic is typical life stuff — juggling a bad, confusing "relationship", working, and the like. However, it's elevated by Laura's craft; Her way of crafting the narrative and then translating it in such simple but effective frames really highlights why I love comics as a form. There's delightfully clever instances of repetition, stylization of text, and use of symbolic characters and color throughout the comics. I'd definitely recommend this!
