I do not know what to expect from reading this collection but I'll have to say that a number of stories here have really tight plots. I really appreciate that the characters are your ordinary person walking down the street or the one living in the apartment next to yours. The ones that I highlighted below are the ones that really stood out for me:

Take The Rats of SS2. Omgosh that was a strong opening. I would actually pay money to read more of the setting between the rat clan and the crow clan and their animosity.

A Pocketful of Pie is so relatable as someone who has been in media for a bit and is on the front lines of F&B. But damn shit it was gross. At the same time, this story made me do a double take at the cover. Very clever there, book cover artist.

City as a Mammary is disturbing and gripping. Man, who could ever think that you can control the city with milk.

Nik Needs a Nik was pretty crazy as all these gangsters have really bad nicknames and we follow the main dude trying to get himself one with bad puns. It's sort of like those crazy Canto movies where everything is super exaggerated and very Asian. I think I need more crazy stuff like this.

The closing, Flush is the perfect story omgosh. Girls school setting and toilet ghost? Great combination. Girl on girl crushes? Aw yiss, this is the content I signed up for. But wow shit I was really confused about who's the real ghost, excellent storytelling.

Look, I may not have been able to read a lot of Fixi but so far this collection that I've come to read is a pretty solid one. (Also, shout out to Fixi for their RM99 for 6 books promo last year including postage which allowed me to own this gem)
