This book did everything right for me. It made me feel so many feelings, made me laugh and even made me cry. I was so enveloped in the development of our main character as well as wrapped around this awesome world that we have been shown. This has got to be the best book that I've read in my entire life and I've read quite a few. I will definitely probably read this book about once a year and annoy everyone that I know to read this book.

What a cute book!!! Adorable.
I’m never usually one for romance, and I didn’t know this book was in the genre of romance when I got it, but I loved it!
It was so lighthearted, and reminded me a bit of Good Omens while reading it.
I liked the writing style and the relationships didn’t feel rushed at all, including Linus slowly becoming more enamoured with the kids.
And while I was expecting Arthur to be a

magical creature

I didn’t suspect what he was, although when I go back and read it I will probably see the foreshadowing.
Overall an enjoyable read!!

Linus, the main character, is a revelation - his journey of growth and self-discovery resonated with me on a deeply personal level.

The children in the story are a joy to behold, each one bursting with personality and charm. I found myself eagerly turning the pages, longing to spend more time with them and learn their stories. The book's tone, reminiscent of Roald Dahl's enchanting whimsy, enveloped me in a world that felt both familiar and fantastical. While some conflicts may seem easily resolved, I found myself immersed in the sheer fun of it all, eagerly anticipating each twist and turn.

What I liked: What a cute story about standing up for what you want, what you need, and what is right. The story is such a cozy book, easy to read, nothing too dramatic.

What I didn't like: It felt a little too simplistic for me. I wanted a more complicated story, something with more emotional depth.

Who I'm recommending this to: I'm actually not sure. I'll have to think on it. Maybe people who are looking to read cozy books that change the way their world thinks.
