I guess, since this is for children, they decided to skip over the problems with racism in some of Wilder's writings. I think they don't give kids enough credit.

An excellent biography for young readers.  The entire family enjoyed this and the illustrations are very engaging and add to the book.

I think the covers of these "big head" biographies are kind of weird, but I'm a sucker for all things LIW so I gave this one a try. A nice treatment of her life for younger readers.

Laura Ingalls Wilder is the sole reason I love to read. Her Little House books are not only started my love of reading but my love of history as well. She’s always been and always will be a favorite of mine. So it’s without a doubt that I enjoyed reading this. The Illustrations were also enjoyable.
