I’ve read a lot of Austen-related books over the years, and it’s rare to find one that feels unique. P&P&P manages to do just that by creating a “fish out of water” time travel story that is also a queer romance. Do you need to suspend a lot of disbelief for the premise and the deus ex machina situation near the end? Sure, but no one is picking this up for gritty realism. Teens interested in the Regency era will find this a satisfying read.

Está bien, cumple las expectativas de lo que se espera. Lo que me sacó más de la historia fue que hablaba mucho de los corsés... en la época de la Regencia, cuando no se utilizaban. Pero quitando eso en general guay

holy shit that turned into a rollercoaster of emotions at the end there, i cried twice overall. favourite part has got to be the first kiss and long awaited confession in the rain at night, it doesnt get much better than this. also ooohh them realising their jealousy has oh so different backgrounds and not at all what they thought.
lucy is such a wonderful person oh my god i loved her, what a tragic story, i loved her pov so much, seeing more of her thoughts and why she had to act the way she did. her final moves in 1812 it was too much i was gasping with everything she was doing because what a switch hoo. or really just anytime she herself was surprised at her actions like at dinner with her suitor, it was incredible. and martha. the real mvp here, wonderful mother figure, was so sweet everytime she appeared. and props to alexander, matthew and james the true supporters at the end lmao. but fuck lucys father. cant hate a man more than that dude.
but oh lord there were quotes i had to put my book down for "I wish that i never knew I could feel so deeply, so i might have been fine feeling so little". like are you kidding me lucy. ultimately i mean, its a sapphic regency romance, what more could you want.
