A charming short story by the great Agatha Christie. Medieval jewelry is stolen from a safe after a party and Poirot must unmask the thief. Christie fans will enjoy this selection.

It was good and it was enjoyable. Nothing particularly special.

Enjoyable to meet Countess Vera Rossakoff again. Not one of her best but always good to read an Agatha Christie.

I enjoyed this one more this time around. Poirot and The Countess always strike me as the most ironic of love interests; I almost wish there was more of them. Almost. But not quite.

Poirot puts his little grey cells to use to find some missing jewels... Poirot’s Irene Adler?
