Really interesting graphic novel. A little hard to follow story wise. Would have liked a few more details about the world/history.

Really great read with great characters and an imaginative world! Hoping there will be a sequel 😄

The art in the book is just lovely! There is so much time and care put into the whole thing and it really shines through! The story however at this point is a bit slow but very cute with a little action thrown in. I'm hoping that this first book is just a set up for what is to come and I will defiantly pick up the next book! ~Ashley

Eh, I felt like this book was trying to do too much. War? Check. Oppressed peoples? Check. Oppressed peoples based on gender? Check. No background about how this oppression came about? Check. Robots? Check. Steampunk? Check. Random birds? Check. Journalistic integrity? Check.
See what I mean.
I did love Goldie.
