This review encompasses the first 4 volumes (though I'm not quite done with Vol 4).

Ménage à 3 starts off sounding like your typical trope. Gary is not good with women and suddenly he has two living with him: one a busty bombshell and the other a punky kickass. Then everything turns Bi. Bisexual, bicurious, bi-confused, and some cases of pansexual. Everyone is a little bi. And also threesomes.

It's graphic in a softcore way, with boobs and ass uncensored. I can't complain when the very first strip is Gary walking in on his previous two (male) roommates having sex. Titillating while not overly erotic, there's more focus on what the sex means to characters than the sex act itself.

As much as I'm truly addicted to this comic, there are two big grievances.

First, in spite of the prospect of threesomes, all characters are all seeking some form of monogamy, leading to awkward love hexadecimals (ie waaaay more drama than your standard love triangle).

And second, you have an all white cast (plus a few asians). On a purely aesthetic level, I'm having a hard time keeping track of all the white guys with black hair. So many missed opportunities for aesthetic diversity.

Alas, I keep reading this because it's my Soap Opera of the moment.

Very funny if you're into this kind of humor. Immature, sex and stupid stuff. I am... so I laugh a lot. Easy humor, but well done, work well everytime even if you see the patern and all you still laugh and have a good time. The illustration are classic, but in a good old way that please me! Good and entertaining in every aspect.
