Such a quick read. The pacing was fast and before you knew it you were at the end.

I enjoyed this story, like all the others in this series. Magnus and Allie are cute, but I did feel almost like the relationship happened way too fast, faster than the ones in the previous books.

However, it had a lot of funny moments and a few surprises too. There were several times I was taken by surprise at some of the developments, but in a good way.

Overall, I enjoyed it and can’t wait to start the next book.

I swore I would never read another one of these series, but I borrowed this from the library without knowing what it was. I'll have to be more careful next time. I think that's 4 in this series I've gotten ahold of, and all 4 are the same novel.
Old old vampire guy. The guy finds The One, but she doesn't know anything about vampires and will be very afraid, so he has to nearly trick her into marriage. Then (or beforehand, whatever) they have mind blowing sex and pass out, then bad shit happens and she winds up kidnapped. Yes, 4 damn novels and they ALL get kidnapped.
This novel is further spoiled (if that's even possible) by authors that wrote the entire story around a 4 year old BUT THEY HAVE NO CLUE HOW A 4 YEAR OLD TALKS. Yes seriously. This supposed toddler sounds more mature than a lot of teenagers I've known.
This whole thing was hot garbage.

Immortal Born is a wonderful unique story. The Immortal matchmaker is at it again and has brought Magnus to Canada to meet his possible life-mate. Talk about great timing!!! He is just in time to rescue her and her son from a bunch of Rogues.

Within the pages you have lots of drama and great story building. A lot of the past main characters are now secondary characters. And who doesn't like a visit to Port Henry. A lot of this story takes place here.

Abandon is back so you know there is going to be violence and bloodshed mixed in with the romance between Magnus and Allie.

Loved it! Yes I even loved the lengthy story about Stella that other reviewers didn't like. It was great!

I really miss the Argeneau books from the beginning. I remember when the immortals had to work at proving themselves a life mate instead of insta-love.
I remember when there was an actual plot that progressed naturally and at a pace that made the book feel enjoyable to read. Now it has chapters of repetitive dialogue that has hardly any progression of the actual plot. In this book we waited until the last few chapters to even have the bad guy appear. After all the talk of how Abaddon was this big and bad vampire from days of old, we witness his stupidity in one chapter.
Can we please bring back the days of being found in the morgue. The days of Lucern trying to hide his job. Bastien trying to woo his lifemate and going into the sun just to please her. I would even settle for Lucian and his gruffness again. At least bring me some sassy Bricker!

I absolutely love the mortal mom raising her best friend's immortal son. I also enjoyed seeing one of the multi book villains getting their karma.

Decent. Somewhat predictable but enjoyable nonetheless. I liked Magnus.
