The audiobook I listened to had a whole cast and sound design - an awesome surprise!! Amazing experience for the start of this amazing series. 

(And Olaf seriously sounds like Neil Patrick Harris. It's crazy)

I never read these when I was younger and didn't plan on reading them. Then I noticed that Tim Curry did the audio narrations and I was sold. I enjoyed the audio book having accompanying background noises and Tim Curry's reading was great. I also enjoyed that the book acted like a dictionary and gave definitions to some of the more advanced words.

I love the idea of these books but the characterization is a bit lacking and the middle of the book dragged. I liked the ending, though, and it had an entertaining hook.
