So much happened in this book, it was just a plethora of discovery of new information. I enjoyed learning more of what had happened in the wake of the events of book one. Although, not all was revealed and there was a little bit of a cliffhanger at the end.

What I really enjoyed was the back-and-forth between past and present. The past focused on what had happened before the event mentioned in book one and then followed the years following. With this, some of our questions were answered about the royal family, the evil plans etc. In the present, we are able to see some of the repercussions of the events and watch the relationship between the shifter king queen and her mates grow. We were able to learn about their pasts and how the past events shaped them too.

I definitely guessed the little twist at the end. I feel like there were a decent number of hints but it was still a pretty good twist. Now we need to know how all of the events surrounding this happened in the past and what will happen with this new information. As well as understand the secrets that have been occurring behind the scenes that none of our protagonists had ever been made aware of. Can’t wait to see the journey and answers unfold in book 3.

This book was exactly what I needed after the cliffy in the first.
So many questions answered, and the story just gets better and better. Every new interaction with the guys made me love them more. Their personalities are all so different and it works so perfectly together, flirty, funny, sweet and broody.
I loved watching their relationships grow and all of them learn the truth.
That ending though!!! So many questions of what Silas has done and why!! Can''t wait for the next book.

Its not often I go into a second book not attached to any of the harem but I thought I would give it a go anyway. If it wasn't for Klaus and Derrick then I may not have bothered and well... it was better than book 1 at least. We had a few steamy scenes that give me hope for book 3 but the dialogue was still very juvenile, especially with Alex. It made me cringe so badly sometimes! The twist at the end has made me want to continue though.

This is a wonderful and intriguing second addition to this series. The steam is starting to heat up. All while the plot is become more and more complex. The story is captivating and leaves you with so many questions. I am very interested and excited to read the next book!
