A disappointing story but I may be forgetting things from the Shades of Magic trilogy; I’m wondering if I did a reread one after the other it might hit differently. But I feel like there wasn’t real character growth…or it could have been the fact the story goes so fast it doesn’t feel like there is because it’s just a panel.

This HQ is super boring, I developed a love for V.E. Schwab books since I read Shades of Magic, but this didn't work

I wanted to see more about Maxim history but let's be honest: the art is ugly and the story has to storyline

I felt this was the weakest of the three graphic novels. The story was much simpler and laid out from the start. I still enjoy the art style and the characters. I just think there could have been a bit more risk since the end didn’t feel very satisfying.

Another great addition to the ADSOM world! I’ve really enjoyed the art and action packed into these volumes and would love to see more! These characters are great and each volume contains something new and exciting. A must have for all fans!!
