Honestly mid. My brother got this for me since I loved the movie (best DC movie ever) but uhhhh—I understood like none of it. The story was kind of rushed and felt inconsistent since it acted like an introduction to blue beetle but somehow I’m just supposed to know all these terms? What the heck is the Reach?! Why are the people evil and why are the others good? The ending was like the fever dream of Breaking Dawn Part 2 where there’s a vision of death but no actual action in the end. Jaime’s character was also not as likable as his movie adaptation which I didn’t appreciate. And I’m not even going to talk about the art style… it’s fine I just had higher expectations…
