Liked the story and premise

I really liked the story - the idea of rebirth and finding your soulmate. I have admit though I'm on the fence about Kyra. So I love that she's a writer and she's strong but her stubbornness to accept that she needs a harem to survive made me want to reach through the book and throttle. I mean Cael is just as annoying about it but at least he's trying...Anyway I love the familiars and their personality quirks. I'm also really curious to see how this is all going develop. Will they regain all of their memories? How did tbe God if Creation grant Cael's request? I have an idea but....looking forward to getting to know Aris in bokk 2 as well.

Earth & Lunaria

Kyra sees herself as a regular romance writer who enjoys sitting at her favorite Cafe. Her barista Aris has always caught her eye, but she's not brave enough to initiate any type of flirting. He flirts with her but then again he flirts with many female customers, she thinks. Until his friend Cael is working at the shop and does all he can to maintain her interest.

But there is more to these guys than she thinks. Cael striking features are similar to the ones that haunt her nightmares. Are they really nightmares, or is there more to the story? Kyras striking neighbor Davin also catches her eye as she's running towards the cafe. Davin flirts with her and even seems interested in her work and love of music.

Kyra fans herself as she has so many individuals flirt with her in one day. But she's a one and only kind of gal, maybe...

She eventually uncovers magic and that she is fated to save earth and Lunaria with some help. If she doesn't find the help she needs she may repeat mistakes of long ago.

The story is captivating and there are a few surprises here and there. This story has a lot to do in trying to not only build the foundation for the rest of the series, but also recap the things Kyra is remembering from long ago. As thd God of Creations champion She has a lot to learn and very little time to make sure the balance is maintained against the God of Destruction.

Part of me wishes we had gotten more friend time. But there is so much information and so little time that I understand why we only get the little in the beginning. I hope to see more of her later even though there is so much going on. Every girl needs some girl time, especially if she's meant to somehow come to accept a harem.

Might spoil a little .....

I am surprised that Queen Alora was so adamant about being monogamous when she grew up with five fathers. I do understand that her beloved guard Bryndon was jealous and did not want to share her affections, but because he wasn't meant to be one of the five I personally feel his jealousy could have been more towards not being one at all. But only time will tell if that was the case.

With Kyra I find it so intriguing that she is in the one and only space. Maybe she has to allow herself to meet the others. It appears that she feels like this is being forced on her and she has no choice - which is kind of true- as to who her partners are. I feel like she is relying too much on feelings of the past and not allowing herself to navigate what she may grow to feel for others. Also stomaching having to find other mates may be easier if you have time to get to know them, but hey there are two worlds to save.

Overall, excited to see where the series goes next. Especially these personality filled Familiars.

Not my cup of tea, but okay

I found that it didn't really keep my interest. The main characters were a bit to back and forth for what I like. They were very concerned about the past, but didn't really do anything except complain about the circumstance.

Not the worst book I have read, and it could be a good series. Seems like a slow build harem that she will add to as the series progresses. Would be good if you like that.
