You are... a beautiful, beautiful, butterfly
This was a really fun read.
One of the better ones, but still not as well written as [a:Alan Dean Foster|11735|Alan Dean Foster|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1207233026p2/11735.jpg].
"Alien Covenant" Crispin was a good enough writer. It had some good moments, but went mostly with the script of the movie, unlike Foster who likes to add bits between the lines.
It seemed to lack some of the "human" quality of the other books. Although like 30% of the characters in this book are actually pure human, so maybe that is why hahah

Such a fun read! This has got to be my favourite novelisation of the series. Crispin let's us into a whole new world behind what we see on screen, and manages to flesh out characters and provide depth and backstories that knit well into the film canon.

I do not like Alien: Resurrection the movie, but the book is pretty good, better than the movie. It makes me wonder if Jos had directed it if I would have liked it more. Hard to say as there are some goofy things in the book.
