Listening to the audiobook was especially fun! Overall this was a cool look at his career, it did veer a bit into listing all the other famous people he knows at the end there, but oh well.

This was so fun to listen to. He writes very well and he shares a lot. Now I will always love Isaac Mizrahi.

This book is at its best when Mizrahi isn't fabulous. When he's discussing his childhood, or how his weight is a constant struggle, or even about his dog. The book is at its worst when he is fabulous. Hanging out with celebrities, making important deals, renovating second homes.

I really enjoyed hearing his incredible journey... loved his admissions of fear and insomnia and insecurity. Isaac has a wonderful way with words.

Isaac Mizrahi. One of the worlds truly remarkable people, has managed to pull off something quite amazing in today’s landscape of every celebrity and their dog having a memoir... from the first page, he transports you to his world and keeps you there until the final page.

Anecdotal, amusing and alluring, the skipping between time periods seems natural.. thinking of how we all recall our own memories.

The only thing I wish is that he created a playlist to go along with each chapter...given his passion for music and nuance.. it would be a wonderful addition to an already perfect tale.

Very very good - long read though! Great story. Fun and personal and introspective and lots of tea-spilling.
