I like how Hallie was the “quirky girl” who likes conspiracy theories, aliens, 90s music, and has purple in her hair. She was confident in what she liked and who she was, and I love that!

Lane was the playboy pitcher for the college baseball team. And also, Hallie’s best friend's older brother.

Hallie makes a “proposal” to lose her virginity and gain confidence around men, and she mistakenly gives it to Lane instead of her bff.

I liked the proposal and the teach me aspect. But why is it always the girl who is an inexperienced virgin? Gimme a book where the roles are reversed, and we have a male virgin being taught!

This book was super cute and fun. Lane was SOOOOO sweet, thoughtful, and gentle.

I really enjoyed this and cannot wait to start the next book! The bits and pieces of Viv and Reese in this book tells me that I’m going to love their story!

Overall a very cute university romance, sporty athletic senior x nerdy shy inexperienced freshman.
It was easy to read, lots of smut and generally fairly wholesome cutie vibes.
What didn't click for me was the lack of sport. Now generally I'm a sporty gal outside of reading, however when reading a sports romance I've never really worried too much about how much sport content there is but for some reason, I was severely disappointed with the lack of sport in this book. The main character mentions that he plays baseball and he goes to practice like twice in the whole book but he's meant to be the uni's hotshot baseball player and there's only one game in the whole book and we hear nothing of it. I just wanted a little more sport throughout the story. Otherwise cute and easy to read, a nice romance story.

Total cliche, girl has crush on boy best friends older brother, who also has crush on her. Fake not having feelings and have an agreement to check things off girls “list” and lo and behold they have feelings. I totally love this stuff though. Cheesy, predictable, sappy. Sign me up.

wow! this book was so freaking cute! i am obsessed with lane and how much he loved hallie. this book was so funny and spicy at the same time. i loved the way that lane helped hallie find herself. hallie’s relationship with eli was also super super sweet and cute. for a second i wasn’t sure who was gonna end up with who in the beginning but im glad it went the way i was hoping. i think this book did a wonderful job showing people that it doesn’t matter what age you are you don’t have to rush into anything you aren’t ready for. overall this book was super sweet and spicy, i can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

This book… all the feelings in this one. I absolutely love this book, I loved the story, the plot, not only that, but I think that the writing was so good. I love this kind of romance, a really attractive guy who is head over heels in love with one of his best friends, they have known each other forever, and he has this secret love and affection for her for years it’s honestly so well written, and normally And stories like this it can be a little bit predictable, but this author definitely put her own twist on the plot and on the characters and on a lot of things that were happening which I genuinely loved so much.

Let me just say LANE?!? he was everything there are so many times I highlighted his dialogue or the things that he would think about Hallie which were completely swoon worthy. I absolutely loved his character. I loved the way that he loved Holly. It was such a fun read I honestly could not put this book down and it was a five star read for me not only because of the plot in the storyline, but the romance was done so well and the spicy scenes were perfect. I love a good sports romance. This book offered so much and I’m so happy that I decided to pick it up and I saw it and Kindle unlimited so if you love, sports, romance, dirty, talking, an overprotective MMC, and a unique quirky fun FMC this book is totally for you.

Kissing Hallie is like coming home. It’s like finding the sign that points to your destination after being lost for so long. Kissing Hallie is fucking everything. She is everything.

---------------------------------

Hallie is in college and still a virgin, but she has a plan to change that. But when she proposes an idea to the wrong Collins brother, her plans change but she quickly realizes that they changed for the better.

---------------------------------

Honestly, my favorite part of this book was watching Lane be soft for Hallie and nobody else. Watching him realize that she has always been an effortless friendship that slowly turned into something more without denying those feelings was fun.
Hallie was a bit different. She had a lot of people warning her about Lane and her feelings for him, which I completely understood, but it got really really repetitive and frustrating towards the end of the book. Like clearly your friend likes this guy and instead of encouraging her to say something they just kept telling her that Lane was a player and would never change and she listened, even though the Lane she had fallen for had changed for her. I just felt like her timidity eventually got to me.
I never like third act breakups but this one wasn't bad. It didn't drag on forever so I can appreciate that aspect.

Honestly I was a cute book! Not one of my favorites but a very very cute baseball romcom for anyone who is looking for one!!
