Take away: The ending was way too long. Otherwise good perspectives.
Narration: Michael Page - Delightful as always.
Normal Speed- Accelerated Speed
New - Second - Third - Committed
Series- Non Series - Non-Fiction - Author
Listening to this book was a chore.
I'm glad I listened to this book.
I didn't want this book to end.
I could not wait to be done with this book.
Average, but better than anything I've written.

This series is one that I think I should like, I want to like but don't love. There was a good mystery which was easy to solve. But at the end, Max kept rehashing the mystery with various characters. It was like the story had finished and the author needed to stretch out the book.

This mystery seemed to get solved with no information, it is like reading Miss Marple, where she knows because she knows people. Max Tudor knows because he's got a feeling....
Despite this, or maybe because of this, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The 'blond detective and the dark haired priest' make a great team and this is a fun mystery.

Oddly paced and I found the plot really boring.

Not the best in the series. Seems like too much of the story was extraneous info, just filling up the word count. Still like the characters. Wish there was more of the philosophical and religious discussions that made this series different.
