I honestly loved this book. I read a few other reviews that were upset about the sexuality of the characters, but it's not a huge point in the book. I loved the writing style and the story sucked me right in.

I previously loved Amy Ewing's past Lone City Series. I was excited to get this book and read it. This book felt very long and I don't think the story was for me. There was nothing wrong with it I just was not engaged in the story and didn't really connect with the world that she created.

Man, are you kidding me? Only a white straight person could have come up with this. I’ve never been so queer-baited or confronted with such flagrant racism in my life.

DNF, I wanted to like this book especially because of the premise and the cover art, but I found it surprisingly boring and decided not to finish.

dnf at about 120 pages. i don’t care enough about these characters or the story to read another 300+ pages.

I really enjoyed this book as well as the plot and concept. My only problem is that I wanted more from the characters which I am hopeful to get in the sequel.
