Some stories were better than others, but overall, I enjoyed them. Some interesting things from my perspective: This copy was published in the early 80's so I would imagine the reviews would have been rather strong for or against.
There were a couple of stories I honestly feel I was missing important pieces of history, but that isn't the fault of the writing, but in my lacking the education. In other words, if this had been part of a required reading for a college class, I think the gaps I had would have been filled in with passing comments during the lecture/discussion portion of the class.
