Meh. I laughed a couple of times, but I was mostly underwhelmed.

Another series of topics that are wise and real life through one of America’s finest women, writers, and journalists.

I really enjoy her writing. It’s like listening to a cool old aunt talking about life.

Oh, Nora. God bless your soul!
I laughed out loud at so many points, and really enjoyed her insight.

3.5 stars. These essays feel like a continuation from the previous book. I connected with all but 2 and find Ephron’s humor pretty delightful in general. These essays are perhaps a bit more down to earth in their continuation on the theme of aging and in a few heavy hitters about family members. On the other hand, some essays are so detailed as to refute the title entirely. I wish she’d written more for me to read or listen to.
