I finally read it and was able to find a few favorites.
The Shakespeare references, the references to Lord Alfred Douglas (what an asshole), his writing was just amazing.

Ein kurzer Spaß für Zwischendurch. Diese satirische Geistergeschichte hatte mit dem Film relativ wenig zu tun, da es sich eher auf die Tragikomik des Geistes, denn auf Spuk und Grusel konzentriert. Wildes pointierte Schreibe tut dabei ihr übriges.

aaaaa I love Wilde's writing so much. But even with the beautiful writing and I didn't feel immersed into the story and that's the reason for the 3-star ranting.

it was definitely a very pleasant read, however it didn't excite me much. except for the first appearance of the ghost! it was a late night and had no idea that was a ghost story. there were a few funny moments, them cleaning the stain was hilarious. the twins i liked and the end was pretty sweet, im glad that the two are happily married. love is stronger than both love and death
