I bought this book solely because of the amazing cover and pulp fiction vintage look, but really, that was all that it had going for it. For plot and character development it falls short with very boring and undeveloped characters. The main character falls in love almost instantaneously with the only female character in the entire story and has to battle it out with two different men to finally win her over - the story is very dated. One plus for the story, the idea of a solar system hidden inside of a maelstrom of debris with its own sun was very interesting and almost in line with a Ringworld type idea.
