This book was bananas, but in a great way. I’d you liked 50 Shades, you will like this book!

Man, I forgot how much I love Pike. I want a Pike. Where can I get a Pike? Do I have to go to kink clubs now-

Loved it
This book is another great erotic romance. I don't know how she does it but the characters always seem fresh and new.

Very sweet and very hot. Loved the characters. Angst could've been a little stronger but beautiful.

Jaime's Review
Honestly, I had never heard of Roni Loren until a few months ago when I took part in a review tour for her novella Nice Girls Don't Ride and I realized that I was clearly missing out on some great reading. Then the opportunity to read this book came up and I just knew that I couldn't pass it up. I was so right on. I am so in love with her writing and her characters and I NEED to find the time to fit in the entire Loving on the Edge series, like ASAP!!
Since I haven't read any of the books in this series (aside from Hunter and Devon's novella. PS. I LOVED IT!!) I knew nothing of Pike, who appeared in Not Until You but my curiosity has definitely been piqued. I fell in love with Pike pretty early on and I need to know as much as I can about him, especially from before he met Oakley.
The D/s storyline has run its course with me but this form of it between Pike and Oakley works because it's their own brand of it. Pike doesn't put a label on himself because he likes what he likes and sometimes those likes change, labels wouldn't allow him that same freedom. Normally a guy calling his girl mama would totally gross me out but coming from Pike, it just works. I actually fucking loved it.
Every time I thought the story was headed in a predictable way the characters stepped up and changed the game. It was such a refreshing change of pace. The only pattern I could find with this story is the author's ability to make me fall in love with situations and a storyline that I wouldn't normally enjoy. I can't wait to read each and every book in this series. I have a lot of catching up to do!!!
*I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

3.75-4 stars. A lot of this worked for me, especially Pike, and Pike and Oakley. And Pike with Oakely and Rae. Lots of cute with lots of hot. Except...I cringed every time he called her mama, especially when dirty talking in sex scenes lmao. It just didn't work for me.
