This was a little hard to follow because I'm not 100% current on what exactly Rebirth means for the DC. I know that this Wally is not the Wally of the New 52 (thankfully) but I was a little unclear exactly how everything connected relative to that. Also, I'm not familiar with Abra Kadabra, so I wasn't exactly sure what his power set was about, particularly relative to making the younger duplicates of the Titans.
That said, it was a decent story that was a lot of fun. I imagine that readers more familiar with Wally West may be excited about some of the plotlines this explores.

'Titans, Volume 1: The Return of Wally West' by Dan Abnett brings Wally West back into the DC Universe. I'm not familiar with where he was before, but this is still a pretty good story.
Wally West is back, but no one remembers who he is. This includes his old teammates, who have dropped the Teen in their name and just go by Titans, and it also includes the woman he loves. Who or what is behind this is one of the Flash's oldest enemies. This enemy has devised a plot that could trap the Flash in the Speed Force forever. Will the Flash disappear again or can his old friends help him?
The villain turns out to be a bit ridiculous, but the story moves along at a good pace. I hadn't been familiar with what led up to this point, but I felt like it got explained well enough. The moral of the story was a bit sappy, but I liked it. I'm glad I got to read it.

When the Titans aren't welcoming Wally back, and slapping him on the back and saying "we missed you Wally" this is a good book.
The section with the alternative world with Linda is very touching.
But there is a LOT of back slapping and "you're a good friend Wally".

I would actually recommend this trade for any Rebirth fan because it directly spins out of the Rebirth event. Wally West is back and the Titans are feeling the repurcussions immediately. I will check out the next trade.

I like bringing back the OG Titans, but The New Teen Titans lover in me just rejects the idea that Cyborg wasn't a Titan and I'm not sure yet if Starfire was a Titan in this reboot, but she wasn't in that picture of the Titans from before Wally left so I reject that too. I'm also not the b i g g e s t fan of Wally West. I don't dislike him or anything, but I don't like him enough to want to read a Wally centered comic, which is totally what this was. Still, I'm sure I'll keep reading.
