If you have an interest in learning about the origins of sufism, islamic mysticism and related poetry of the Indian subcontinent then this book is a good beginning. The author has given a very good introduction to various concepts and history behind all the different types of poetry related to sufism and mysticism. I read this in 3 days flat.
