This series continues to entrance me. The sketchy, shadowed art style is so angsty and mesmerizing. The drama is ramping up hard. Love it!

Honestly, after last volume I started to get way more into this manga. I'm starting to enjoy the relationships a lot more and how more bold Masa is getting with Yaichi.

As the conflict is starting to get to the climax as Masa's family drama ramps up and Yaichi's past is slowly revealing.

This found family is starting to dissolve and I hope they can be together.

in this volume, Masa's brother comes to Edo due to some official task but he takes the opportunity to visit & investigate Masa's source of income.

It's more of internal conflicts within the organization where Ichi being as mysterious as ever, Masa trying to loyal to the group and also the clash of character between Masa & his ambitious brother. For me, the plot moves really slow in this particular volume whether in the current time or in term of the back story of the characters.
