Thoroughly enjoyed this! I liked the journal format in which it’s written and both Emily and Wendell are great characters; Wendell especially had me chucking aloud at his vanity and flare for dramatics. Overall, a great story filled with cozy mystery, adventure, and a touch of romance.

Good fun, easy read that had fairy tale qualities and a fun romance as a bonus.

This book was such a treat. It was slow to get started, but then I was hooked. I listened to the audiobook and highly recommend listening. The narrators were awesome!

Emily is absolutely adorable and I fell head over heels for her. And the whole cast of people in the town were just as wonderful. You just learn to love everyone for who they are, flaws and all. Especially Wendell!

The pacing was spot on, the mysteries of the faeries were so engaging and entertaining, plus all of the action at the end. I believe this is a cozy fantasy but there is a lot going on in this story that I assumed wouldn’t because of the cozy aspect.

Loved it! Give it a read.
