I loved this book. It’s chock full of data from various scientists, and Ridley’s voice is humorous, informed, sometimes dismissive, never boring. It brought a new perspective to my parenting and teaching. Highly recommend.

I thought this would be a little bit of preaching to the choir, but I was impressed at Ridley synthesizing arguments from avenues I hadn't considered before. I think it's informative but won't feel preachy to anyone.

The book felt to me like he the author was attempting to give opinions disguised as science. He seemed quite judgmental on many issues.
