This was a short story for kids with beautiful artwork. This story takes place during the events of The Force Awakens after Poe leaves Jakku and before BB-8 meets Rey. This story shows how truly remarkable of a droid that BB-8 is and how much he cares for other beings. Not only that, there is some real value that your kids can take away and you might as well instill values derived from Star Wars!

I have no problem admitting that I am a Star Wars fan, and while I liked BB-8 before I read this book, I wasn't as enamored of him as the rest of the world. This book made me like him a lot, though. It goes inside his mind and shows his generous nature as he stops to help others even though he's running from the bad guys. Super sweet, which I never thought I'd say about a Star Wars book.

behold, the greatest piece of literature to ever grace the star wars literary canon.

this takes place in between when bb-8 is stranded on jakku and before he is found by a certain jedi who shall remain unnamed. c:

i loved it. it was pure, fun and super sweet. daywalt does an excellent job of conveying bb-8's ideas without writing him actually speaking, although i wish there had been more beeps and warbles.

the art is gorgeous, it's traditional art done with oils and texture painted overtop. the colours are really bold and super saturated and i loved the message.

bless bb-8. bless.
