“He died in the middle of our conversation. How rude.”

“I don’t care anymore whether you’re Greed or Lin. I’ll call you «Grin» for short.”

The story is coming to an end in not too long, and you can feel the tension building. A few important things happened, and it’s all coming together. Still it wasn’t the most interesting book in the series. I’m guessing calm before the storm!

This was a great volume! The action was well balanced with some of the emotional beats and I can tell it’s building towards a conclusion. There’s 6 or 7 volumes left and I’m kind of sad to see it end. As much as I think it’s insane Boku No Hero Academia has SO many volumes (and some arcs, like Eri’s, went on for WAY too long), I’ve been enjoying this series and I’m sad it’s coming to a close. However, I think it might be for the best because I can’t recall any moments that felt like unnecessary filler in this series.

Riza and Mustang’s partnership continues to be impressive. Izumi and Gen Armstrong remain badasses! Ed continues to be a compelling character. I’m still invested.
