Wow with this re-read, I still rated this 5 stars. It is my favorite series, but let me sell you on why you should be reading this series. Note: This is the 2nd book in a series, there may be spoilers, be aware!

Description: Welcome to Cloral! The territory where everyone lives on floating habitats because there is no land. Bobby and Press follow the evil Saint Dane to this magnificent territory. However, it's not clear how Saint Dane will stir up trouble in Cloral right away. Good thing Bobby and Press get a break right? WRONG. They must work with Spader, a young man on Cloral who is going to be a Traveler but has no idea what that means. When everything comes to a head, can Bobby get Spader on his side and work together to defeat Saint Dane?

ALL the goods:
- Mark and Courtney (the folks Bobby writes his letters to) are getting a more advanced storyline that keeps you wanting more.
- Bobby's personal progression in this book and his path of stepping into his Traveller role is exciting to read.
- The action scenes in this book are descriptive and I can see them in my head.
- Cloral is one of my favorite territories. It's described beautifully with unique technology that makes me want to go there today.
- This book gets emotional but in a way that makes sense and opens more doors than it closes.

Overall: PLEASE REASE THIS SERIES IF YOU EVEN HALF LIKE FANTASY AND SCI-FI, this series will take you on a journey.

I can never pick just one book of the Pendragon Series that is my favorite but if someone asks me this one usually comes to mind first! In contrast from the primitive territory of denduron, The Lost City of Faar is based on the technologically advanced territory of Cloral a beautiful water world with dynamic characters and an exciting plot. The second book dragged me farther into the world of Bobby Pendragon and I couldn't wait to read the rest of the series!

A nice exciting all-guys-here kind of sci-fi/fantasy adventure story. These will never be my favourite books, but I can totally see why some people find them so appealing.

Okay, it's official. I am now fully hooked on the Pendragon series.

Bobby Pendragon, fourteen-year-old new and confused Traveler of space and time, is headed to his next territory. This time, it's Cloral, a water territory where dry land is unheard of and the people have discovered all kinds of cool ways to use and overcome their aquatic surroundings.

But Cloral is also at a tipping point, thanks to the evil Traveler Saint Dane, who seems to have a diabolical plan for destroying Cloral's peace and prosperity. Bobby will need the help of both his mysterious but dependable Uncle Press, and the energetic and charismatic Vo Spader, who is unaware that he is actually Cloral's own Traveler. And then there's the fact that the only way to stop Saint Dane may lie with a sunken city that is hardly more than a fairy-tale...

Cool gadgets, fun and engaging characters, and a image-rich world of water, this book is all the proof I needed that I'm going into a great series. Bobby has a fantastic first-person voice, and it's getting up there in my mind with Max and Percy Jackson from their titular series. Plus, more goes on back home on Second Earth with Mark and Courtney, and I'm looking forward to seeing them more in future novels. I am fluming full on into the next one!
