I really REALLY wanted to like this book - and the characters in it are interesting and complex. So from that perspective it had all the markings of a great book for me. But, the pace of it was just too slow for me personally, getting about 60 pages in and I still felt like there was little conflict or plot tension building etc. because of this, I had to make it as DNF. Maybe one day I’ll return, but for now there wasn’t enough to keep me excited to read.
