I've said it before and I'll say it again: this book is god-damned delightful. It's just kind of a perfect book. Read it. You'll love it.

This book won the Pulitzer, so it doesn't really need my hype, but wow. It may have ruined me for all other books. It's so joyful and beautiful and perfect.

a good mix of funny, poignant, and sad, with an interesting narrative style (remiscent of a stream of consciousness, but told through third person).

sweet ending, overall a pretty sweet story. because of the narrative style, it was hard for me to really get a grasp of arthur as a character, but I started to feel towards him in the latter half of the book. i thought that the writing was also very interesting, sometimes a little too flowery, but mostly very clever and pretty.
