To Kill a Mockingbird is a classic indeed. It feels like reading a kid's book at first, until everything comes together and makes sense.
The characters are the center of the story, with all the meanings that the author wants to pass through easily understood, and masterfully handled, embedded smoothly into the story.
The writing is, in addition, light, fast-paced and deep with emotion.

I have not read this young adult classic in quite sometime, but I remember that it was a "gem" (pardon the pun).

I had to read this book for school in junior high, and while it wasn't my favourite, it wasn't that bad. I suspect that like many other books I was forced to read, I may enjoy it more if I read it again now that I'm an adult...

How exactly does one go about reviewing a classic masterpiece such as this? It is still as compelling as when it was written. I think everyone should read this book. It has so much insight into humanity.
