THIS WAS SOOOOO GOOD!!! Its been a few months since I finished Heroes of Olympus, so I was already missing Rick Riordan <3 I don't care that these are considered children's books, I am 24 and loved it so much!!

The story is great, it got me hooked, I fell in love with a lot of the characters (especially Sadie and Bast), the ending was perfect, and it almost made me cry. Can't wait to start the next one!

I love books like this, because they help you learn thing about the topic as you read. As you read, there may be characters that don't know a lot about this topic just like you, and other characters will explain what it is. This is an entertaining story as the reader learns about the characters and their journey. In the book there are many different topics/mini stories, such as the quests, character background, and romance. It is also very interesting because, the point of view is different between the characters Carter and Sadie, who are brother and sister. Their relationship also gives a funny attitude to the book. The ending was suspenseful, suprising, and left you with questions that made you want to read the next book.

Did not finish. This book sounds like it was written by a pair of teenagers (in all fairness, it's supposed to) which was not at all enjoyable or endearing. Neither of the main characters were fun and identifying with the storyline is right out as well. I wanted to like this set because I enjoyed the Percy Jackson ones, but the magic was lost in these.

AMAZING! My favourite part of the book were the little hieroglyphs thst were included when the magicians/gods would enchant them! Honestly there’s so much to like, one thing I did notice was that unlike the whole Greek gang there were no demigods in the book maybe Ancient Egypt didn’t have those? We’ll see! But generally quite a thrilling experience that keeps you sharp throughout the story
