A solid, festive cozy mystery! Susan is a fun protagonist to follow around as she investigates. However, the whole book is set in between Christmas and New Year's Eve, so it doesn't entirely capture the Christmas mood that I was hoping for, but that's a minor complaint. One component of the mystery I didn't love:
the murderer is the most obvious person with the most obvious motive; I was hoping for something a little more exciting, but the investigation itself was great.
