Sweet and gentle prose. Can see why Green would make a great fiction writer, but the style of this book wasn't for me.

I'm not typically a fan of short stories, but loved this collection. Green starts by talking about a topic and by the end of the chapter, has gone super deep into another area entirely. Each chapter ends with a rating, and even the more shallow entries (diet Dr. Pepper) are surprisingly informative and entertaining. I love that Green is unafraid of talking clearly and often about his own struggles, including insecurities and his mental illness.

The essays are beautiful and can be sad at times, but are always hopeful.  I also learned a lot of trivia from this book too!
