This one was just okay. A detailed storyline following Virginia Hall, one of the top OSS.

A friend once commented that I seem to mainly read historical fiction about WWII. That is certainly not the only thing I read, but I see why she thought this. I have read many books about this era. This book is excellent. It is highly engaging and tells a story of WWII that I knew very little about. I am in awe of the bravery of the woman featured in this book and all who helped with the Resistance.

My respect and admiration goes out to all the real people these characters were based on, but I really did not enjoy this book at all. Everything was told instead of shown. Things fell flat, and I felt nothing for any of the characters.
