I really liked the story, although I felt like the plot like was a little slow and then all of sudden everything happened. Also, I didn't see a need for Piper's character at all. I felt that whole story line could have been left out and the book would have been just as good.
I struggled to get going on this but once I did I fell in love with the characters and became attached.
I really liked this author's first book, "Love Walked In", but I didn't like this one as well. The character of Cornelia, who was featured in the first book, was a peripheral character in this book and I missed her and thought her characterization in this book was kind of flat and narrow.
I really enjoyed this book. I really liked the characters and it was just a quick read, interesting storyline too.
A warm comfort read about the everyday intricacies, joys and frustrations of love, friendship, and family. Like real life, not always comfortable or pleasant, but often full of unexpected rewards. Wonderful characters and surprising, complex relationships. Loved it.
Just as good as her first novel. This time there are more characters and they are all interconnected, but she takes her time drawing out the connections in a way that feels real and surprising at the same time...like you already knew it but never could have guessed it! Read it!
a lovely follow up to Love Walked In
this story picks up a year or two later with Cornelia and Teo settling into the suburbs and making new friends.
I really enjoy the author's writing style.

This book is a loose sequel to Loved Walked In. This, too, was a sweet book. It catches up with Cornelia and Teo several years into their marriage, living in suburban Philadelphia. It involves new neighbors and a mother and her teenage son. It, too, is told in various voices, with Cornelia’s interspersed. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
