I truly enjoyed the book, but I was expecting a little more twists and heartfelt moments. This was a more sweet story then the first book and it through me off a little but its still a good read. I do like the plot and the characters, but as I said, was expecting a little... more. I would give it 3.5 stars but I round up to 4. I'm still gonna read more from Maci!

I recived a ARC for a honest review.

Fake dating and fake hating each other can only last for so long. Sean and raven are intensely attracted to one another it was only meant to be one time but they can't get enough. But how can two people who struggle to open up make it work I really enjoyed this story the chemistry between them was so hot. I loved being able to feel a character's emotions and this author did a great job with that. The story had me engaged the whole time. This was my first book by maci and it will not be my last.

Read this book as part of the #TBR takeover event June 2022.
Good book with likeable characters. Frenemies to lovers is always a fun trope to read and the author did a great job of balancing the tension, romance and the spice with a few comedy touches thrown in for good measure.

I really liked this story.
The undeniable chemistry between Raven and Sean was sizzling right from the start.
The build up to their relationship was smooth and well written.
I felt bad for Sean at times because it seemed he was getting mixed signals quite a lot from Raven.
However, with Raven’s worries, it was understandable to hold Sean at arm’s length at first.

I found it hard to put the book down, especially when the steam hit and then engulfed the pages.
Woo, it was hot!!! Sean was a man who knew what he wanted and Raven was a lucky woman for being on the receiving end of his skills, especially as his profession made him perfectly knowledgeable in every aspect of a woman’s anatomy. Raven wasn’t exactly a prude, and gave as good as she got.
What a combination!!
