What a book to get me out of my reading slump! The best non spoiler way to describe it is it’s like Hunger Games crossed with SweetTooth (the new DC show on Netflix) The writing style is so uniquely voiced and what a cliffhanger, blimey.
I thoroughly enjoyed the stubbornness of pretty much everyone but there was enough common sense for it not to be annoying. I like characters that have a backbone but are also comfortable with their emotions and showing them most of the time. This series should be made into a show, it works well. Can’t wait to immediately read book 2 and 3.
