Umta's my fave to date. The 23 really should have listened to her.

Holy smokes! I mean...that was one explosive episode, if you pardon the pun.
Not only have I been dying to learn more about the mysterious Umta - and boy did it explain a lot! - but people died! People we know! People we'd once cared about!
And, Oh. My. God, some of my favourites lived. For now. Thankfully.
Most of all, this was one action packed snippet of the story that is more important than all the others combined, so far. Not to say that they're fantastic, because they were. But this one really tells us something important and offers up more questions to be asked later, too.
Not only have I been dying to learn more about the mysterious Umta - and boy did it explain a lot! - but people died! People we know! People we'd once cared about!
And, Oh. My. God, some of my favourites lived. For now. Thankfully.

This was a very confusing episode. The format stays the same, this time it is Umta's story (as the title would suggest). She's very different from the rest, as she's not a teenager, and probably also didn't die at the same time as the rest of them. I still don't understand what her role is in the story, or what is happening. The ending was not very unexpected, but prepare for the loss of some of the characters.

I say week after week that I love each of the characters even more than the others but the reality is each of the characters is so well written that you can't help but love all of them.
This week we get to know Umta, the one survivor who seems to have more knowledge than the others. At the end of the episode, we aren't any closer to understanding more about why but we do learn the story of her life and subsequent death. As in each previous instance, her life shaped the unique skills she brings to the team and her death is just as tragic.
When tragedy strikes, we also learn the importance of listening to your elders.

This was a cool episode. We got to know more about Umta and the ending of the episode was action packed. Too bad it took so long for things too happen, though.
