I for real didn't expect to love this series so much but holy crap it's so good. I absolutely adore the way both Nova and Adrian's struggle with right and wrong, good and evil and how those lines can blur very easily.

I'm a big fan of the way the love story in this book is depicted too, its slow burn but not in an annoying way - their hesitations are realistic and it makes sense as to why things are moving so slowly.

The end of this book was also EXPLOSIVE, I absolutely can't wait for the final book to see how this is going to be wrapped up. What will happen when Nova and Adrian find out about one another? What's going to happen with Ace? Who really killed Nova's family? Are Adrian's fathers as pure and heroic as they claim to be? How the hell is this all going to end?

DEAR LORD, PLEASE LET MAX BE ALRIGHT!

This book was so boring shes litterally an undercover spy and not a single thing goes wrong for her almost the entire book, I gave up right before the climax was about to happen but it was just so overdue like not one single thing led her to being caught and there were no consequences to her actions. Like why would she make Adrian fall asleep while they were kissing could you be more obvious?? But were there any consequences? No

It felt like this book lost its stakes through most of the book. Everyone believes nightmare and the Sentinel are dead. Not much happens Agent N until later. The most stakes that happen is Nova’s got a bunch of butterflies following her. If you are a Nova X Adrien shipper you will be happy because they fill this book with a bunch of romanic moment with them. For me i couldn’t care less.

This book probily didn’t need to be 560 pages. It could of been cut down

Spoiler

I’m still waiting for Nova’s secret to be revealed. It can’t be long because Danna knows but she is stuck in butterfly form.

They better not kill the only thing i enjoy about these books. Max is my favorite part of these books
