The adventures of Peter Rabbit as he goes into Mr. McGregor's garden, is spotted, and must escape. After arriving home, he is in such a state of distress that he gets only a spoonful of chamomile tea for dinner, while Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-Tail (who obeyed their mother's rules) all get a scrumptious dinner.

The classic illustrations are charming. As an adult, the moral is quite a bit more heavy-handed than I remember as a child.

Warm and cosy short read!! 
You'll surely fall in love with the notorious Peter Rabbit. 
As it's said, unless it really happens with you never learn why you have been refrained from doing so. 
A tale where little Peter Rabbit learns a lesson for a lifetime!!🐰

The story itself is so simple, especially if you read it as an adult, but i love the soft & beautiful watercolor illustrations.
