Super cute! I'm a sucker for a nerd falling in love and Grayson is epically sweet (while still being a teenage boy).
This book was so much fun. And it reminded me so much of [a:Cassie Mae|7064948|Cassie Mae|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1367100060p2/7064948.jpg] books, if someone had told me it was written by Cassie Mae I would have believed them. It had elements that reminded me of both [b:Switched|18929973|Switched|Cassie Mae|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1385352150s/18929973.jpg|25532844] and [b:Reasons I Fell for the Funny Fat Friend|17157374|Reasons I Fell for the Funny Fat Friend|Cassie Mae|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1355957875s/17157374.jpg|23580012].
Avery is just so adorable. I want to put her in my pocket. And Grayson? Oh my gosh! He's like perfection. They were amazing together since the first naked shower. ;) It was so inevitable. I cant imagine how they could have known each other all their lives and never noticed how perfect they were for each other until now. Or how she could have spent so much time with Aiden when there was Grayson to be had! He would bend over backwards to make her happy, and he was so patient with her social awkwardness. He was the perfect cure for what ailed her, from her broken heart to her anxiety. He never pushed her to do more than what she was capable of, but he also never let her become complacent with her life. He was just so unbelievably amazing!

I also loved seeing Grayson try to win Avery over. I really enjoy when things are changed up and it is the guy who is pining for the girl. It doesn't happen that way as often and I just love seeing that side of a guy. But Grayson was patient as ever and just so good natured and fun and kept making Avery laugh no matter what. He was so hilarious and sweet! I also loved the added side story of Avery's friend Libby, and Grayson's friend Owen. Oh my! What an odd pair! Hahaha, love the photo booth scene. I wish we could see more of them.
The prologue to this book was the absolute best. It was perfect! I wish I could just quote the whole thing. I cant pick a favourite line from the prologue. Grayson just doesnt know how to quit being amazing! I will definitely be checking out more of this author's work.

This was so damn cute.
Fluff. THIS WAS ALL FLUFF I AM TELLING YOU.
Super adorable really quick read. It wasn't perfect, there are some relationships that I definitely wish were fleshed out more- but this had me smiling and squealing in a way I hadn't squealed for a book in ages.
Such great brain mush.

You can always rely on Kelly Oram with her cute cliches.
I noticed her books are quite unrealistic with the cheesy, straightforward and cliches conversations but her books are so cute that I don't even mind at all (most of the time anyway) :P I've always wanted a childhood friend like Avery's but even I have to admit Avery & Aiden's relationship was kinda messed up and unhealthy from the start. AND OMG GRAYSON I CANNOT EVEN.
I love how this book was written in two perspective and Grayson's POV was so entertaining to read. I'm adding him into my unending list of fictional boyfriends :P
Cutesy and fluffier than cloud itself, a book you can always depend on to make your day.

Its a super short book with nice character development as well as the romantic development. I loved that they used a scientific approach to cure Averys broken heart. The relationship develops between Avery and Greyson who is trying to heal her broken heart and the hunk falls for her now she needs to realize his feelings for her. It is such a cute story. I loved it. RECOMMENDED.

-I haven't checked the publication date but I'm guessing it was one of her earlier works.
-show don't tell!!! I don't really buy Grayson's character. They say he does all this bad stuff, but as the reader, we haven't seen him do anything even remotely "bad".
-Stereotypes much? The whole "geek" and "athlete" trope can be fun, but how many times can you emphasize that someone is a "geek" or an "athlete" or how weird it is to see them together... They say authors use stereotypes because they haven't fleshed out their characters enough and I think that's exactly right in this situation.
-Also, this is just my personal opinion and probably a controversial one at that, but through reading all the books I've read, I've discovered the meaning of life, however cliche it may be. Without our relationships, life would be dull and lackluster, right? So with that in mind, I don't understand why these romance books always clearly state that the relationship is "healthy" (that sounds bad but hear me out...) and that if they were to break up and go their separate ways they would be fine. If the meaning of life is the connections we make, then why is it "unhealthy" to want a relationship that you couldn't live without? (By "unhealthy" I don't mean abusive or anything, just abnormally codependent)
Overall, this book as a flop for me. It's on;y redeeming factor was the idea/main plot.
