Wait did you see the next cover, i predicted the issue when the kiss will happen right lol.
So i told you jahpo was an asshole, time travel could afflict you with a rare untreatable cancer, and he moved the entire cathedral of the watchers to the past to perform his ablution.
Seems like erin found a way to return home, so probably the last volume will be in 1988, i ll take a wild guess to say that we will have one issue where erin will be time traveling on her own, setting everything up for the finale, because if i remember correctly visiting wari isn't the only time she interfered on her own with this journey.
The Tiffanys happiness over finding out there will be black presidents of usa was really sweet, its these moments that make you realize where USA have been and where it is now, its the same moment when they saw the first female candidate for president, it made them feel happy and that nothing is out of reach for them as young girls.

Wari Is the sweetest old lady. The Tiffanys’ are becoming some of my favorite characters. I love how they both reacted to their possibly being a black president. And also how little Tiffany didn’t know what “spoiler alert” was lol.

This issue felt like a bit of a jumble to me, to be honest. But even a somewhat disappointing issue of Paper Girls is miles ahead of most titles

The plot certainly does thicken.
